about ggu: Locations
Golden Gate University offers courses at four West Coast locations and online through our nationally-acclaimed CyberCampus.
SAN FRANCISCO
The Golden Gate University San Francisco campus is located in the heart of the city's downtown financial district, and is easily accessible by public transportation. All degree programs, certificate programs, and School of Law classes are offered on the San Francisco campus. The University Library, Law Library, telecommunications lab, and computer labs are also located here.
SILICON VALLEY
The Silicon Valley location is one of Golden Gate University's regional learning centers. The center enables local students to combine weeknight and Saturday in-person classes -- with GGU's full range of online programs -- to complete degrees and certificates in a broad range of business career fields.
Some programs are offered for completion locally, including degree cohorts meeting on a fixed course schedule with a core group of continuing students. Classes may involve hybrid courses with both in-person and online classes.
The facility offers a comfortable and modern learning environment. Students can access the GGU Library and its research databases online, and advisors are available by phone and e-mail.LOS ANGELES
Golden Gate University branched out to Southern California in the 1970s when the area's major accounting and law firms requested our outstanding taxation program. GGU's Los Angeles site is located in the Ernst & Young building in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. The facility has two conference-style classrooms and includes a fully-equipped computer lab.

Courses are taught by some of the finest tax professionals in the field. All faculty have advanced degrees, and provide the most contemporary tax education available. They bring cutting-edge tax issues and complex situations for practitioners to the classroom. Instruction is structured with working adults in mind and gives current, practical, and applicable information. Class sizes are small to encourage dialogue.

Many taxation classes are offered in the evenings and some are offered in 8-week intensive weekend and 15-week online formats.
In Seattle, students can complete their degree fully in-person in as few as 2 years -- even while working. Students who wish to complete the degree within 1 year may combine in-person courses with online offerings. For students entering the field of taxation, tax season internships can be integrated into the completion plan.
ONLINE
Golden Gate University's CyberCampus offers online courses that allow students to earn full degrees and/or professional certificates, update their skills, or accelerate degree programs without having to commute to class.
Students can apply, register, take classes, and interact with their professors and fellow students without ever setting foot on campus.
CyberCampus also provides online access for traditional in-person courses. Web-enhanced courses offer increased communication, storage for course documents, and supplemental course material.
Please note: Golden Gate University is not authorized to offer online courses to students residing in Alabama, Arkansas, or Wisconsin. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
