  • GGU led the San Francisco Bay Area in the number of businessrelated graduate degrees awarded in 2003, according to the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS).
  • GGU's School of Taxation is one of the nation's largest tax schools.
  • The School of Accounting has the only evening master of accountancy program in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • Accounting Today recognized David Hardesty, adjunct professor, as one of "The 2004 Top 100 Most Influential People in Accounting."
  • Five GGU professors have been Fulbright Scholar recipients including GGU Professor of Law Clifford Rechtschaffen who was granted the award in 2004 for his environmental law/justice work with the university.
