![]() Judd R. Marten Partner, LeSourd & Patten, PS | Mr. Marten is an attorney and partner in the LeSourd & Patten, PS law firm. His practice emphasizes estate planning, employee plans (and IRAs), and small business formation, sale, and transition of ownership. He is a frequent speaker, and has addressed both the Washington State Bar Associate and the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants in the areas of employee plans, IRAs, and the estate plan. Mr. Marten has an LLM in taxation from Boston University, and he is an adjunct professor at the Seattle University School of Law, a member of the faculty of the Golden Gate University Graduate Tax Program, the WSBA Gift and Estate Tax Committee, Seattle Pension Roundtable, and the Estate Planning Council of Seattle.

O'Donnell Member and Chair, Tax Practice Area, Ogden Murphy Wallace, PLLC | John O'Donnell, a Member and the chair of the firm's Tax practice area, handles tax-related business and estate planning. During his 30 years of practice, Mr. O'Donnell has represented clients in start-up matters, such as formation of new entities; expansion matters, such as mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures; divestiture matters, such as spin-offs and redemptions; and business termination matters, such as sales of assets and entities, liquidations and dissolutions. His estate planning practice emphasizes the inter-relationship between estate tax-reducing transactions and resulting income tax consequences, particularly for closely held and family-owned businesses. As both a CPA and an attorney, Mr. O'Donnell maintains memberships in the state, local and national associations of both professions. He has served as past chair of the Washington CPA Society Taxation Committee and the Washington State Bar Association Taxation CLE Committee. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Washington Law School Graduate Tax Program, and an Adjunct Professor at Golden Gate University, Seattle Branch, Graduate Tax Program. Mr. O'Donnell was born in 1946 in White Plains, New York. He received a B.B.A. in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in 1968, a J.D. from New York University Law School in 1971, and an L.L.M. in Taxation from Boston University Law School in 1979. |

Roger A. Wilkins, CPA, MST Principal and Director of Tax Services, Clothier & Head, PS | Roger Wilkins is a Principal and the Director of Tax Services at Clothier & Head, P.S. He has over 20 years of experience in federal income taxation planning and compliance for businesses of various sizes, from closely held to publicly traded, and individuals. Additionally, he consults on mergers and acquisitions, nexus issues, structuring and reorganization for business entities in industries including service, manufacturing, research and development, retail and distribution. He has worked extensively on federal income tax accounting issues involving inventories, cost segregation, timing of income and deductions and other tax deferral strategies. Roger is a member of the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Seattle Tax Roundtable, and the Seattle Chamber of Commerce.
