Earn Your Degree in One Year or Less
With our full-time, intensive cohort program, you will be able to earn your graduate MAc degree in as little as one year. Located at Golden Gate University's downtown San Francisco campus in the heart of the financial district, students will study in a cohort group - taking all of the courses together, building a lifelong professional network upon graduation. Rigorous academic challenges will be supplemented by professional networking, career development and hands-on learning opportunities. As part of the degree, eligible students can complete a well-paid internship for academic credit, obtaining valuable career experience.
Career Development and Placement Support
Cohort students earning their MAc degree will attend many frequent workshops focusing on career search techniques, including resume writing and interview coaching. Multiple career options are presented by tax and accounting firms and industry leaders. Networking events and interactive sessions with accounting and tax professionals at all levels - from first year staff members to managing partners - are convened exclusively for cohort students. Technical panels and hands-on training sessions allow cohort students to immediately leverage their classroom knowledge so they are able to use what they have learned in real-life practice situations during their internship or employment position.
