19th Annual Fulbright Symposium at GGU

Friday Apr 03, 2009

This past week I had the chance to welcome several distinguished guests to the 19th Annual Fulbright Symposium on International Issues held on our campus, including five Visiting Fulbright Scholars and Consuls General from Egypt, Israel, Peru, Columbia, Bulgaria, Poland and Switzerland flew in for the occasion.

The Symposium, taking place today, is led by Chris Okeke and keynote speaker Sompong Sucharitkul -- both of whom are pioneers in the field of international law.

With a distinguished faculty and with our geographic location on the Pacific Rim, GGU is and should be a player on the world scene in international law. As a matter of fact, 35 countries are represented in our School of Law student body.

Did you attend the symposium? Please let me know what you thought of the event.
