The Career Center provides resources, support, and opportunities to students and graduates as they transition from law school to professional life. The Career Center’s goal is to help students and graduates find rewarding and meaningful work in the law by teaching lifelong skills to achieve career goals.

The Career Center thanks you for recruiting with GGU! GGU offer employers complimentary access to post positions in GradLeaders or by completing a job posting form. Employers may find instructions and information related to their GradLeaders account here. Questions or concerns may be directed to lawcareer@ggu.edu.
Resources for Graduates
Graduates never lose access to the Career Center. Alumni can utilize the Career Center for job-search advice, industry leads, and networking opportunities. They can also visit for career coaching, detailed resume and cover letter reviews, mock-interview preparation, and more. Alumni may access these resources by logging into GradLeaders.
Industry Information
The Career Center provides students and alumni with information about trends in the legal job market, grant opportunities, and networking events focused on various practice areas. The Career Center works with faculty and student organizations to bring attorneys to GGU to speak about practice areas and legal opportunities. The Career Center also facilitates visits with law firms, corporate in-house legal teams, and other JD-Advantage employers.
Bridge Fellowship Program
To assist with a smooth transition to law practice, GGU Law provides a limited number of modest stipends to recent graduates who volunteer in a legal capacity for courts, government agencies, and public interest organizations.
Recruiting
The Career Center provides access to clerkships, externships, and post-graduate opportunities, hosts semi-annual on-campus interview (OCI) programs, and promotes job fairs to link students with formal internship and job opportunities.
GradLeaders Career Platform
JD students and alumni can use the GradLeaders Career Services Platform to access part-time and post-graduate legal opportunities, register for career events, participate in recruiting programs, and access resources. Students may access GradLeaders through the myGGU Portal.
Events and Programs
The Career Center offers programs throughout the year to promote industry knowledge and professional development. Programs focus on practice areas, real-world tips, and skill development. Students can take part in Public Interest Day, #FirstGen programming, and programming specific to each class year.
Leap Program
The Career Center created LEAP (Leadership Education and Professionalism) to ensure students were office and practice ready based on employer needs and feedback. LEAP offers students the opportunity to earn a certificate for gaining professional knowledge. The program requires students to watch six professional development videos, meet with a career coach, and create a LinkedIn profile.
