SOSC 88 - Leadership and New Social Demands
Examines the fundamentals of leadership as a daily practice of social interaction and interpretation. Analyzes power, multiculturalism, and sexism as they pose challenges to leadership in business, health care, education, and public life. Prerequisite or corequisite: ENGL 1A.

SOSC 198 - Special Topics in Social Sciences
Address significant, topical and practical problems, issues and theories in social science. Topics will be selected by the department coordinator. This course may be taken more than once, provided the same topic is not repeated. Prerequisite: Consent of the department coordinator. Prerequisites will vary based on topic.

Examines relationships between international business, politics and economics through a study of cases in business and politics, international affairs, current events, policy, institutions, and political and economic theory.Co- or prerequisite: ENGL 1A.
