CyberCampus offers a virtual classroom experience that combines academic rigor with flexibility. Courses are composed of sound, relevant educational content, and taught by experts who are well-respected working professionals in their fields. CyberCampus courses are asynchronous, meaning that students do not have to be logged in on any particular date and time to complete their coursework. The course syllabus will give you an idea of how often you should log into your course and what your instructor expects of you. For an example of an online course, please visit one of our
demo courses.
CyberCampus courses are entirely Web-based. All you need is a current Web browser to access and interact in your course. No downloading of software or plug-ins is required! CyberCampus believes that a Web-based course platform is the most effective interactive device for distance learning today. If you can log on to the Internet, you can participate in CyberCampus courses.
Using a Web-based online learning platform, students communicate with the instructor and with each other through threaded discussions. Discussion is an essential part of every CyberCampus course. Students are expected to contribute thoughtful, meaningful dialogue in the threaded discussions at least once a week.
Each CyberCampus course includes at least one supervised exam. Exams can be supervised at any GGU campus location or by local librarians, your employer, or other responsible parties.
