Q: What do YouTube, Twitter and Flickr have in common?
A: They are all famous Pivoters!
- YouTube started as a video dating service and is now worth over $45.7 billion
- Twitter started as Odeo, a service that revolved around personal podcasting and sharing audio content. It is now worth over $5 billion.
- Flickr started as Game Neverending, an online roleplaying game. It was sold to Yahoo in 2007 for $40 million.
Success in any entrepreneur’s journey is knowing how and when to pivot.
Join us to hear from companies that have effectively pivoted, followed by an interactive forum of issues facing entrepreneurs.
We will begin the evening at 5 pm with networking. From 6 - 7 pm, our panel of Pivoters will share their experience and answer questions. From 7 - 8 pm, companies seeking advice on a potential pivot will receive feedback from our panel..
Light refreshments will be served. This is a free event and you are encouraged to bring a colleague and tell friends.
