The Office of Career Planning offers a wide variety of services for students, alumni, employers, faculty and staff. Our goal is to engage students and alumni in strategic career management as a lifelong practice.

Assistant Director, Office of Career Planning

Neepa Parikh is a dedicated career counseling professional who works with both students and alumni in developing opportunities for career satisfaction. Neepa loves resumes and provides ongoing assistance with interviewing, job search and networking strategies. In addition to working with students, Neepa manages GGU's employer relations program.

Prior to joining the team at GGU, Neepa provided comprehensive career services at Mills College and has experience counseling within higher education, high school and a juvenile detention center. She has also spent some time abroad and is fluent in Spanish.

Neepa holds a M.S. in Counseling with a career and college specialization from San Francisco State University and a B.A. in Criminology from the University of California, Irvine.


Career Coach, Office of Career Planning

Laura Snow Benoit is a career coach who supports individuals achieve their career goals through strategic job search planning, resume development, and enhancing their interview skills.

Before joining GGU, Laura worked as a Human Resources Generalist at a social services nonprofit in Chicago, where she was actively involved in recruiting and on-boarding. She also volunteered as a Career Coach for the Career Transitions Center of Chicago and was a Career Intern at the Colorado College Career Center. In her free time, she loves volunteering in the community and participating in triathlons.

Laura received her Master of Arts degree in Counseling and Organizational Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in August 2011. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The Colorado College in 2007. She is a qualified practitioner of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois.
