Joseph Zamaria

Dr. Joseph Zamaria is a Staff Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at UCSF, providing clinical services at Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute. He teaches at GGU and also instructs pre-doctoral psychology interns at California Pacific Medical Center's Department of Psychiatry.

In addition to clinical practice and teaching, Dr. Zamaria serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Northern California Society for Psychoanalytic Psychology (NCSPP), the regional affiliate of the American Psychological Association's Division 39. He has also published in the area of research into the use of psychedelics as an adjunct to psychotherapy.
