Dombrowski is the Director for Response at FEMA/U.S. DHS Region 9 to include CA, AZ, NV, HI, Guam, Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands, American Samoa, Federal States of Micronesia and Republic of Mariana Islands while involved in efforts nationally and internationally. Prior to his current position, he served as a Federal Coordinating Officer (FCO) and the first Operations Section Chief for the National-Incident Management Assistance Team (IMAT)-West. As an FCO, Dombrowski led the federal effort for Presidential declared disasters and served in other key leadership positions on incidents of national significance. During his career, he responded to more than 30 Presidential declared disasters, multiple National Special Security Events and other incidents in over twenty states including the 9/11-World Trade Center Attack and Hurricanes Katrina/Rita and Sandy.
