Mark A. Weiner has worked for the IRS Office of Chief Counsel since 1990, where he is a Senior  Counsel specializing in matters involving tax-exempt organizations.  His job entails assisting agents and specialists make decisions about tax exemption and litigating cases in the U.S. Tax Court where he’s been the government’s lawyer in more than 40 reported opinions.  Mark earned his BA degree from UCLA in political science, his JD degree from Gonzaga Law School in Spokane, WA and an Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from University of Florida.  Mark and his spouse have three adult children and he enjoys riding his motorcycle year-round in Southern California.
