Nathaniel Henderson is an experienced, successful human relations and professional development practitioner with senior management and leadership achievements in the United States Air Force and private higher education institutions. During his Air Force career, he obtained the master instructor designation while assigned to the Air Force Instructor Academy teaching professional development courses to officers and non-commissioned officers assigned to the U.S.A.F. Recruiting Service. Following his retirement from the United States Air Force as a senior non-commissioned officer, he continued his interest in teaching and human development as a faculty member, director of career services, and regional admissions officer in private higher education institutions. He also established a successful consulting service specializing in job preparation and career coaching for entry and experienced professionals.
In 1994, he began his career at Golden Gate University assigned to the Walnut Creek Teaching Center as director of academic initiatives. He managed the recruitment for graduate and undergraduate degree programs and led the East Bay regional Executive MBA Program in Dublin and Walnut Creek until 2003. From 2003 to 2008, he served as director of the Executive MBA program. In 2008, he launched Golden Gate Universitys first Professional MBA cohort and assumed management responsibilities for both EMBA and PMBA programs as Director, MBA Cohort Programs. In 2011, he accepted appointment as PMBA program director, and adjunct professor.
