Thea Bellos is the principal of The Bellos Group, a global marketing and management consulting firm, which was founded in 1991. The Bellos Group provides market research, strategic planning, training and business consulting services to professional service firms and corporations in the engineering, environmental and legal industries, and to non-profit cultural and international educational organizations. Bellos was previously the director of marketing and communications of EIP Associates, an environmental consulting firm, and director of development of the Oakland Ballet. She has taught at GGU since 1991, was the recipient of the University's Stanley Price Adjunct Faculty Award for distinguished service, and leads the international study tour for the EMBA program. Bellos also teaches at UC Berkeley, University of San Francisco, Dominican University of California, St. Mary's College of California, Hult International Business School and Macquarie University's study abroad program on The Scholar Ship. She is also currently working with an international team on the development of the non-profit, The Global Stewards Institute and serves as the president of the board of directors. An avid traveler and photographer, Ms. Bellos exhibits her photographs throughout the Bay Area and she participates in the EBOS Pro Arts Open Studio and the Berkeley Artisans Holiday Open Studio annually.
