Professor Norman has been teaching international tax courses at Golden Gate for over 35 years.  He is a Certified Specialist in Taxation Law (State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization). He holds an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Early in his tax career, he practiced with several international accounting firms, and a U.S. multinational industrial corporation.  For the last 30 years, he has practiced as a tax lawyer in Los Angeles. He currently is Managing Partner of Ord & Norman, a  Los Angeles law firm whose practice is limited to cross border tax planning for businesses and high net worth individuals. In 2008, he received from the Taxation Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association the Dana Latham Award for his outstanding contributions to the field of tax law.
