Student Life at Golden Gate University is full of exciting and rewarding times. Here are a few events that highlight the rich experience of being a GGU student.
New Student Orientation is your opportunity to learn about the services available to you as a GGU student, to ask questions, meet some of the faculty members, meet other new students, get academic advising and register for classes if you have not done so already.
GGUTOPIA is an annual lifestyle fair with an opportunity to enjoy free food and goodies and connect with students, faculty, staff and local and national vendors. Some of last year's vendors included, 24 Hour Fitness, STA Travel, Naked Juice, Zubio, Comcast, ZipCar, American Red Cross and Well Fargo Bank.
2014 Event! Ecker Alley - September 3, 2014 from 4 - 7 pm. Come out and talk to people about campus and local resources. If you're hungry or need caffeine, stop by one of the food or coffee trucks.
International Education Week is a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.
Check out some highlights from previous years:
- Performance by Abada Capoeira, a Brazilian martial arts group.
- SGA hosted movie night.
- Several chances to win free prizes by entering the IEW raffle.
- SGA and Student Clubs hosted the Cultural and Club Fair with samples of foods from around the world and live music.
Community Days are perfect opportunities to meet and network, take a break from your studies and spend time with your families and fellow classmates.
