| BASIC FUNCTION AND SCOPE OF JOB |
The Department of Management within the Ageno School of Business invites applicants for a tenure track full-time faculty position. Excellence in teaching is valued at Golden Gate University, and teaching experience is preferred. Scholarship of relevance to the business community is highly valued. In addition, the holder of this position will have an important role in the planning and management of the department's courses, programs and degrees.

| ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS |
Full-time faculty members at Ageno School of Business are expected to:
Teach between four and eight courses per year (depending on other assignments)
Lead in course and curricula design
Participate in School and University governance
Maintain academic and/or professional qualifications

| QUALIFICATIONS |
A doctorate (Ph.D./DBA) in management
The demonstrated ability to assist a diverse, adult student population in reaching its learning objectives is of prime importance
Consistency with GGU's focus on professional practice education experience in the business world is required
Demonstrated ability to maintain a research agenda
Excellent written and oral communication skills
High degree of professionalism in dealing with staff, colleagues and students
