Group Study Rooms/Enclosed Carrels
Several rooms located on the lower level of the Law Library are designated for group study use. Law students may obtain the key for a study room at the Circulation desk. The keys check out for two hours at a time. A glass-enclosed study area for quiet study is located at the far end of the Plaza level.
Photocopy machines are located on both floors of the Law Library. Copies cost 10 cents per page. The copiers operate only with a copy card. The copy card vending machine is located on the Plaza level near the Reference desk. The initial card may be purchased for $1 and may be reused by adding value to it.
A machine that changes quarters, $1 bills and $5 bills is outside the Law Library in the vending area. The Cashier's service windows, located just off the street-level entrance to the University, will change $10 bills when change is available, Monday through Tuesday, 11-6:30 p.m. and Friday, 11-5 p.m. No change is available elsewhere in the building for bills larger than $5.
Vending machines are located in the lobby, near the pay telephone. Covered drinks are permitted in the Law Library; food is not.
Restrooms are located just outside the main entrance of the Law Library.
Public telephones are available inside the Law Library on the Plaza level as well as in the lobby. A campus phone is in the lobby. The use of cellular phones is not allowed in the law library.
A suggestion notebook - known as
The Buzz Book - is located near the entrance to the Law Library. We welcome your ideas on services and on the collection.
Periodically, books withdrawn from the collection are placed on a cart near the Circulation Desk and offered to patrons for a nominal fee.
