Profiles: Madeleine Tolani
Research Associate, University of Freiburg, Germany
Madeleine is working as a research associate at the University of Freiburg, Germany, where she is teaching law students and writing a post-doctoral thesis in civil procedure.
"The world-wide reputation of the GGU, its long experience of integrating foreign students, and its impressive variety of courses were the main motivating factors for my decision to study at GGU. The flexibility of the program LL.M. US Legal Studies allowed me to focus on civil procedure. The introduction to US Law class taught by Professor Burton provided an excellent overview of the American Law, familiarized me with the major cases in U.S. legal history, and enabled me to successfully complete the program. The LL.M. considerably increased my possibilities in the academic world."
