Jeff M. Howson

Jeff Howson worked at Arthur Young & Co. from 1968 through 1981, and became a tax partner in 1978. In 1981, he started Howson & Simon to specialize in tax and financial issues for high net worth individuals, which is still the focus of the firm. Jeff taught Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates in the late 1970s and early 1980s, and resumed teaching the course in 2006. In 1984, he received the Outstanding Alumnus Award from Golden Gate University School of Taxation. Jeff holds a B.A. from Harvard College, an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, and an M.B.A. in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
