Profiles: John Fyfe
Interim Dean, Bruce F. Braden School of Taxation, Executive Director, Office of the President
Dr. John Fyfe's tenure with Golden Gate University began in 1992 as director of quality assurance and planning as well as the acting dean of eLearning. Since June 2001, he has served as the regional administrative dean for GGU's South Bay and Monterey Bay sites. In March 2014, he was named interim dean of the Bruce F. Braden School of Taxation. Fyfe has also served as provost of the Silicon Valley / Monterey Region.
Before joining GGU, Fyfe was on staff at the Stanford University School of Medicine where he served consecutively as director of research administration, director of laboratory health and safety, and director of administrative budgets.
Fyfe earned his BA at Colorado College and his MA and PhD in education at Stanford University.
