In addition to teaching at Golden Gate University, Laura Ross is a Partner in the Financial Services Group for EisnerAmper LLP, where she specializes in accounting and tax issues for hedge funds, investment advisors and pass-through entities. Laura is a licensed CPA, a member of California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs and is on the Advisory Board for the San Francisco State University Accounting Department. Laura was President of the San Francisco Chapter of CalCPA for the 2011-2012 term, and is chair of the San Francisco Chapter’s Tax Committee. She also participates in a number of CalCPA state committees. Laura holds a B.S. in Accounting and a B.S. in Finance with a minor in Business Information and Computing Systems from San Francisco State University and an M.S. in Taxation from Golden Gate University. Laura and her husband have been licensed foster parents in San Mateo County since 2002 and have had a house full of teenagers since that time.
