Leslie Acosta-Bhattacharya's Bio

In addition to teaching at Golden Gate University, Leslie Acosta-Bhattacharya works as an Attorney at law at her own firm, Leslie Acosta-Bhattacharya. Her practice includes estate planning, estate and trust administration, business formation and related tax planning. Leslie focuses on minimizing the effects of income and estate taxes and providing asset protection for her clients. As a mother of two children, she has faced the difficult questions in setting up a guardianship for her children and facilitates such process with her clients. Leslie is currently the Vice Chair of the Probate and Trust Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco. She is admitted to practice law in California and Texas. She is also admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. Leslie holds a B.B.A. in Finance and an M.B.A. in Accounting from University of Houston, a J.D. from South Texas College of Law and an LL.M. in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law.
