Lloyd Born is a self employed CPA who specializes in capital assets, real estate, partnerships, S corporations and advanced individual taxation. The majority of his clients are other CPAs who need assistance with particularly challenging tax issues. He has taught eight different courses at Golden Gate University, has given numerous speeches on tax subjects and has written and presented several seminars on tax subjects such as passive activity losses, at risk rules and imputed interest and original issue discount rules. He has been a director of 27 corporations including a bank. He is also a former partner with KPMG Peat Marwick. Lloyd is the recipient of the Elijah Watt Sells silver medal award for the second highest grades in the United States on the CPA examination. Lloyd holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Washington.
