Rodney Hurd has taught at Golden Gate University since 1979 at both the undergraduate and graduate level and has received the Adjunct of the Year award in 2002 and Distinguished Teaching Award in 1996. He is a founding member and currently the Chief Financial Officer of Bridgeway Capital Advisors, Inc. In addition, Rod is the Chair of the Financial Accounting Committee at Equipment Leasing and Finance Association and is a recipient of its Distinguished Service Award. From 1987 to mid-2003, he was employed by Bank of America Leasing & Capital Group in a variety of senior management positions, including Managing Director and Portfolio Management & Analysis. Prior to 1987, he held controllership positions with other leasing companies and a venture capital firm. Rod has authored numerous articles published in Equipment Leasing Today and Journal of Equipment Finance. Rod holds a California CPA certificate and graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in History from Santa Clara University and magna cum laude with an M.B.A. in Accounting from Golden Gate University.
