Financial Options

When it comes to helping you find resources to finance your education, we are all about giving you options. Even if you think you do not qualify for traditional aid, a Golden Gate University admission or financial aid counselor will happily help you discover other sources. These could include:
  • Federal Financial Aid
  • State Grants
  • GGU Scholarships
  • Private Loans
  • Employer Tuition Assistance
  • Installment Payment Plans
At Golden Gate University, we have done away with most of the add-on fees that other colleges charge, so our tuition rate covers the total cost of each class. Please refer to the Tuition and Fees section of the GGU website for current tuition rates for the various programs.

Undergraduate students may be automatically be eligible for the Academic Excellence Scholarship based on your entering cumulative GPA of 3.0 and above, or First Generation Grant if you are the first generation in your family attending college, or Incentive Grant based on an entering cumulative GPA of 2.0 plus an EFC (Expected Family Contribution) from the FAFSA (file on line at www.fafsa.ed.gov) of under $10,000. The GGU Scholarship or grant may be from $500 to $2,500 per semester depending on the number of enrolled units!

Undergraduate students may also utilize GGU's Net Price Calculator to estimate your net price of attendance after grants and scholarships are factored in.

A financial aid counselor is available to help you determine the cost of meeting your education and career goals, and will work with you to discover all your payment options. Call 888-GGU-EDU1 or fill out the More Information form to get the process started.
