Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD)

Full-Time Day Program
Entering students may matriculate in August each year. The full-time day program usually takes 3 years, but can be completed in 2-1/2 years. See JD Student Recommended Schedules for more curriculum information.
Part-Time Evening Program
Entering students matriculate in August each year. Students attend class four nights per week during their first year. Thereafter, they attend three or four nights per week and attend one or two eight-week summer sessions. The part-time evening program usually takes 4 years, but can be completed in 3-1/2 years, with two summer sessions. See JD Student Recommended Schedules for more curriculum information.

With approval of the Dean of Student Services, students may transfer from the part-time to the full-time program (or vice-versa) after completing their first year of study.
