Golden Gate Law Study Abroad Programs
With increased globalization, Golden Gate Law graduates may deal with foreign legal systems and work with lawyers and clients from other countries in their practices. Learning about international legal systems is therefore an increasingly important aspect of legal education. In addition to Golden Gate Law's many international law courses on campus, an excellent way for students to become familiar with foreign legal systems is through study at a foreign law school.
Golden Gate Law has two study abroad programs:
Summer Comparative Law Program in Paris
Summer Comparative Law Program in Paris.
Golden Gate Law-San Sebastian, Spain
Golden Gate Law-San Sebastian, Spain Program
Golden Gate Law has a new semester abroad exchange program in San Sebastian, Spain between Golden Gate Law and the University of the Basque Country, or UPV, Universidad del País Vasco. All instruction is in Spanish.
Students interested in the UPV exchange program should start planning as early as possible in their law school careers and should carefully review the Frequently Asked Questions on the
Golden Gate Law-UPV Program page. After reviewing this information, students should contact the Golden Gate Law-UPV Faculty Coordinator, Professor Marci Seville,
mseville@ggu.edu.
