Jared manages outreach to employers, provides career counseling, and directs the Honors Lawyering Program. Jared joins our team after a successful career as an intellectual property attorney in Chicago. In addition to his copyright and trademark practice, Jared served on his firm's hiring committee and as a mentor to junior attorneys, experiences that have prepared him to serve as a resource to GGU Law students. He is a Bay Area native, and earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Columbia University and his JD from UC Berkeley. Jared is an avid tennis player, sings baritone, and volunteers with Jewish Vocational Services.

Prior to joining GGU, Leeor served as the executive director of the East Palo Alto Youth Court, a community-centered restorative justice program staffed by youth trained to serve as the attorneys, jurors, bailiffs, and clerks. He built EPAYC from its inception and, in that role, did a significant amount of community outreach, fund-raising, promotion, and youth mentoring. He previously served as an attorney with the State Public Defender's Office and interned with the Midwest Center for Justice and the US Department of Labor. He earned his JD from the University of Chicago Law School and his BFA from NYU. In his free time, Leeor enjoys bike riding, photography and chess.
