Featuring panelists: Roy Crawford, special counsel Heller Ehrman; Earl R. Thomas, consultant and lecturer; Roburt Waldow, shareholder, Heller Ehrman; with moderator Jack Wm. Hodges.
  • Roy Crawford, special counsel, Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe LLP, is with the firm's state and local taxation practice. His practice has an emphasis on corporate income/franchise, personal income, and sales and use taxation matters. Prior to joining Heller Ehrman, Crawford was the partner in charge of state and local tax for a prominent national law firm.
  • Jack Wm. Hodges, associate dean and visiting professor at the School of Taxation at Golden Gate University. Hodges has practiced tax law in California since 1979 and is a nationally recognized expert on issues related to the multi-state income/franchise taxation of banks and financial institutions.
  • Earl R. Thomas, a nationally recognized state and local tax consultant and educator. He focuses his practice on business taxes imposed by state and local governments. Thomas' sales and use tax expertise includes all areas of multi-state sales and use taxation including transaction consulting. He has over 25 years of experience, primarily in Big 4 public accounting firms
  • Roburt Waldow, Shareholder, Heller Ehrman White & McAuliffe LLP, Mr. Waldow regularly advises clients on state franchise, income, sales and use, and local property tax matters arising in connection with business formations, operations, debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions and dissolutions, and represents clients in state and local tax disputes. Prior to joining Heller Ehrman, Mr. Waldow was a partner of a prominent national law firm.
