Thomas' sales and use tax expertise includes all areas of multi-state sales and use taxation including transaction consulting. He has over 25 years of experience, primarily in Big 4 public accounting firms.

James Goeller is a tax partner with Perry-Smith LLP in San Francisco, where he heads the Financial Institutions tax practice that audits and provides tax services to over 70 banks and has personal responsibility for supervising tax services to approximately 30 community banks ranging from community banks to super regional institutions. His experience includes work on tax compliance and consulting; estate planning and mergers and acquisitions.
