Adam Michael Forest

Adjunct Professor Adam Forest is the managing partner of Scale Group, a boutique law firm serving growing tech companies in the Bay Area.  He represents clients in both corporate and litigation matters, including entity formation, labor & employment, commercial agreements, licensing and regulatory compliance, and commercial litigation.

Prior to Scale Group, Adam ran the legal department at LendingHome Corporation.  There, he saw the company through hypergrowth to over 250 employees, $1B lent, and over $100M in venture capital raised.

Adam started his career at Reed Smith LLP, where he practiced commercial and appellate litigation and represented clients in financial services, education, and intellectual property disputes.  At the firm, Adam briefed and argued many dozens of motions in fifteen state and federal court jurisdictions across California.  He has also briefed appeals in four of the six appellate districts of the California Court of Appeal and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Second Circuits.

Adam received his J.D. from UCLA School of Law and his B.A. from Stanford University.
