Amy Golden began her career at O’Melveny & Myers, LLP concentrating on secured transactions before joining a small law firm in Colorado where she worked on both litigation and transactional matters. After returning to the Bay Area, she worked as a staff attorney at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals focusing on immigration cases and as a senior attorney at the State Bar Court of California, Review Division. Currently, she works as a contract attorney and volunteers on asylum cases with the East Bay Sanctuary.

Amy received a BA in History and Political Science from Northwestern University, an MA in Southeast Asian History from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and her JD from University of California Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall).
