Lindsay Witzel

Adjunct Professor
San Francisco

Lindsay Witzel has been teaching and mentoring students at GGU Law since February 2014. She currently teaches "Wills and Trusts Drafting" to JD students and "Drafting Estate Plans" to students in the LLM Program in Taxation and the new LLM Program in Estate Planning, Trust, and Probate Law, which she helped to develop.

After six years as a civil litigator at major law firms in San Francisco, Professor Witzel found her passion in estate planning. Her practice is now based out of Marin County where she lives with her husband and young daughter. Before paring down her practice following the birth of her daughter, she was honored as a Northern California "Rising Star" for four consecutive years.

Professor Witzel received her BA in Cognitive Science with Honors from Yale University. Returning to her California roots, she received her JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, and her LLM in Taxation and Certificate in Estate Planning with Honors from Golden Gate University School of Law.
