Adjunct Professor Penelope Chronis, a principal in the firm Chronis & Kreher LLP, provides a full range of business and family-based immigration legal services to companies, foreign-medical graduates, professionals, and individuals in areas including employment authorization, non-immigrant visas, immigrant visas, consular processing, permanent residence, and naturalization.

Professor Chronis has taught Business Immigration Law at Golden Gate University School of Law since 2002. She holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of California at Davis and a JD from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco. She has practiced law exclusively in the area of Business and Family based Immigration and Nationality Law since 1987. Ms. Chronis is a Certified Specialist in Immigration and Nationality Law with the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) . She previously served as a Commissioner on the City and County of San Francisco Immigrant Rights Commission where she chaired the Policy and Legislation Committee from 1996-2001.
