Timothy R. Cahn

    Mr. Cahn is a partner in the intellectual property group of the Kilpatrick Townsend law firm. Mr. Cahn's expertise is in trademark, copyright and internet law, and he focuses his practice on advising companies with significant IP assets to develop strategies to combat infringement, unauthorized distribution of their branded products, unfair competition, trade secret misappropriation and similar problems. In addition to having litigated dozens of IP cases, Mr. Cahn has experience developing and implementing comprehensive intellectual property enforcement and anti-piracy programs for major consumer brands.


    Mr. Cahn has a JD from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Religion from Westminster College (PA). After law school, he clerked for Judge Max Rosenn of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit (in Philadelphia).
