GGU4YOU Applicant Help

GGU4YOU is a Web interface that allows applicants to make transactions and access information contained in the administrative database used by GGU. See the answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) below. If you still need assistance, contact GGU4YOU Support.

Law School applicants are provided GGUYOU accounts at the time of admission. For information regarding matriculation, JD applicants should contact lawadmit@ggu.edu or 415-442-6630. LLM and SJD applicants should contact gradlaw@ggu.edu.

What does the status of my application mean?
  • Not Applied: You inquired for a program but have not yet submitted an application.
  • Applied: You recently submitted an application and it is in the data entry process.
  • BIN or "needs intl checklist": As an applicant with international credentials, we will conduct a complete review of your application requirements and send an email with very specific information about what is needed to complete your application. Files in this status are awaiting that review.
  • Reconstruct: You attended GGU at a previous date and it is necessary for the Records Office to prepare your student record for review. In some cases the record is readily available in hard copy. Other times it will require the file to be recreated from microfiche. You receive information about the specific status once the file is reconstructed.
  • No Degree Program: You submitted an application but did not specify an academic program. GGU does not allow admissions with an non-degree status. Please review our available academic programs and send an email to ggu4you@ggu.edu with your name, GGU ID number, and your degree/program choice.
  • No App Fee Rcvd: You submitted an application but did not submit the application fee. US applicants for graduate degree programs should send $70 and undergraduate degree programs should send $55 or $40 for all certificate programs. Doctoral applicants should send $80. International applicants should send $110 for all program options.
Application fees should be sent to: Office of Enrollment Services, Applications Technician, 536 Mission Street, San Francisco, CA, 94105. Please include your full name and GGU ID number with your payment.
  • Pending (Incomplete): Your application requires additional documents. Go to My Documents for details on what is missing.
  • Pending (w/evaluatr): Your file is with an admissions evaluator. You will be contacted within 5-7 business days with a request for additional information or an admissions decision.
  • Pending (Dept Review): Your academic history requires a review by the academic program director or dean of the school for an admissions decision.
  • Pending (COA Review): Your academic history requires a review by the Committee on Admissions and Academic Probation for an admissions decision.
  • Pending (Doct Comm): Your file has been forwarded to the Doctoral Admissions Committee for an admission decision.
  • TOEFL Condtl Letter: All academic requirements for admissions have been met but you must meet the English language requirement for admission.
  • Admit or Move to Student: An admissions decision has been made. For details regarding your admissions requirements, send an email to ggu4you@ggu.edu.
  • Deny: Your application for admission has been reviewed and denied. Please contact the Office of Enrollment Services by calling 415-442-7800 if you require additional information.
  • Withdrawn: You have requested that your application be withdrawn from consideration.
  • Administratively Canceled: The Office of Enrollment Services has canceled your application. For details on that decision, send an email to ggu4you@ggu.edu.
What does the code for the start term mean?
GGU has a variety of start and end dates throughout a given term. The code you see represents the trimester term. This is used in Admissions so you can begin taking your courses any time during the trimester term listed. The list below explains the coding:
  • 09/SP - Spring Trimester 2009
  • 09/SU - Summer Trimester 2009
