Golden Gate University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Web. You can order transcripts using any major credit card. Your card will only be charged after your order has been completed.
- To order an official transcript(s), go to the Clearinghouse secure site.
-
If you have a GGU4YOU account, login and start the ordering process from the GGU4YOU "Student" menu in order to avoid having to send the consent form to the Clearinghouse.
- The Clearinghouse website will walk you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. A processing fee of $2.25 will be charged per recipient.
- Order updates will be emailed to you. You can also track your order online.
-
Attention Law School JD students: If you are attempting to transfer to another law school and will also need any of the following: a letter of good standing, class rank, or a copy of your LSAT score, DO NOT submit your order online via the Clearinghouse website. Instead contact the Law School Registrar's Office to request a "transfer out package". If you are ordering only a transcript, the request should be submitted online via the Clearinghouse website.
What's the quickest way I can have my transcript sent?
We offer rush processing with express delivery service for an additional charge. Transcripts are sent out the business day after we receive the request via overnight delivery (two day delivery to PO boxes or international addresses). If hold for pickup is requested, your transcript will be available within two business days of receipt of the order.
Orders must be received by 4 pm Pacific time.
Do I get a free transcript when I graduate?
Upon graduation, all recent graduates are automatically sent one copy of their transcript to their home (or preferred mailing) address. These transcripts are sent out within two months after the student's final term, and cannot be expedited. If you would like your transcript sooner, you will need to submit a request and pay the applicable fees.
Can I specify that only my transcripts from my undergraduate (or graduate) work be sent? Or from only one degree program?
GGU will only issue transcripts in their entirety. All academic levels and degree programs will be included. The only exception to this is law school students who also enrolled in non law school programs at GGU. Those students may request that only their law school transcript be sent.
I want to be sure my transcript will have my DEGREE posted on it. How can I confirm this before I submit my request?
When submitting your order via the Clearinghouse website, select the processing option of "After Degree is Awarded" from the drop down list.
I want to be sure that my transcript will have the grades from the CURRENT term on it. How can I confirm this?
Click the "View Grades" link on the GGU4YOU Student menu. If the grades appear there, they will also appear on your transcript. If they do not, please contact your instructor to ask whether he or she has submitted them. When submitting your order via the Clearinghouse website, select the processing option of "After Grades are Posted" from the drop down list.
I only want an unofficial transcript. How can I get one of those?
GGU does not issue unofficial transcripts. If you want a copy of your grades or degree progress, go to the "View Grade History" or "Evaluate Degree Programs" links. You can print out either of these by clicking the print icon on your Web browser.
How can I find out about the status of my transcript request?
Go to the
Clearinghouse Website and enter your order number and e-mail address in the boxes under the "Track Your Order" heading. Click the arrow to submit the information and view the order status.
How do I know to whom my transcript was sent?
Go to the
Clearinghouse Website and enter your order number and e-mail address in the boxes under the "Track Your Order" heading. Click the arrow to submit the information and view the order status. Click on the order number to view the details of the order, including the recipients mailing address.
