GGUCareers
The Office of Career Planning knows that many of our faculty and staff work outside of their role at GGU. If your organization or department is hiring, consider an intern or employee from the GGU community. Simply post the position on GGUCareers, a FREE job and internship posting site, and reach a broad number of candidates including current students and GGU alumni.
We provide valuable databases for career research
CareerBeam©
CareerBeam©, our virtual career center, has several powerful industry and organization databases that can help you and your students conduct research. To sign up for a FREE faculty or staff account, please visit
GGUCareers.
Highlights include:
- An Industry Database maintained by First Research© which uses some of the web's strongest industry research tools to seek out information on over 200 fields. Each industry profile contains a wealth of information including business challenges, executive insight and recent developments in the industry.
- An Organization Database provides immediate access to information on specific companies or to obtain a list of companies using specific criteria, such as geographic region, industry, or size. This database is also useful to identify contacts for networking within a company. The database provides Company Intelligence Reports, which include a company overview, personnel biographies, lists of subsidiaries, and links to the latest news articles about the company.
- The E-Library is an inexhaustible collection of on-line resources that are easily accessible via links from CareerBeam©. The E-library provides links to resources on Global Information, Salary, Entrepreneurial Information, Recruiting and many other topics.
We assist in identifying quality experiential education opportunities
GGU Internship Program
Experiential education is an important way for students to gain the valuable experience they need to reach their career goals. This experience can also enhance classroom discussion and bring another dimension to student projects and coursework. Through our network of employers and careful career advising, we can help your students identify internship opportunities that will best serve their educational and professional pursuits. For appropriate experiences, the Office of Career Planning can also assist your students in obtaining internships for academic credit.
We connect you to colleagues in your field
