PLUS classes meet at the San Francisco location Monday through Thursday from 9:20 am to 2:35 pm. GGU classes meet in the afternoons and evenings. Participants may enroll in one or two GGU credit classes, depending upon their performance on the PLUS assessment test taken at the beginning of the term.

Tuition for 15 hours/week of PLUS coursework is $3225. All PLUS students concurrently enroll in coursework for their degree program. Fees for academic coursework vary by level.
All PLUS participants pay tuition based on current tuition rates. Tuition and fees are subject to change.

For all international students on F or J visas, per term of enrollment:
$400 (approx.) health insurance
$90 international student fee
To be admitted to GGU, applicants must submit a certification of finances showing proof of financial resources for one year of tuition, fees, room and board, books and incidental living expenses. Currently this total is $24,000. Total tuition varies according to the level of course work and placement within PLUS.
All of the services available to any admitted student are available to PLUS students. In addition, PLUS students receive focused advising, testing and placement unique to their needs through the PLUS office.
Students enrolling in PLUS are tested at the beginning of the term to determine their level. Tests are based on university skills needed for success.
- Computer Labs - state-of-the-art with current software, Internet access, free e-mail accounts, laser printers.
- International Student Services - advising, guidance, visa support, medical insurance.
- Library - extensive research database, online research, superior librarian support.
- Career Services - assistance with finding appropriate internships and training positions.
Various housing options are available including temporary housing at a nearby residence hotel, renting an apartment or room near GGU, or staying with a host family. The Bay Area's extensive public transportation network also allows for living outside of the immediate area. Most students find it economical to share housing with other students. More details about housing are included in the orientation packet sent by International Admissions and Advising Services.
Golden Gate University is authorized by the US government to admit non-immigrant alien students. Admitted students receive an entry document from GGU to present to the US embassy or consulate in support of an application for a student (F-1 or J-1) visa.
