Finance Club
Purpose of the Organization
- Provide an assembly for University students/alumni interested in finance to become better acquainted with each other, with finance faculty members, and with our areas of interest in finance.
- Enhance each member's extra academic knowledge of finance by means of informal speeches by professionals in the field of finance, providing current information concerning business finance, and fostering the development of a professional spirit among members.
- Educate current students about job opportunities in the world of finance. Furthermore, we will manage financial innovation.
- Create a platform for participants to share their views related to the various financial markets across the globe. A platform where students/alumni can share good articles related to all finance students.

Officers Bios
Narjis Rachad, President

Narjis is a currency-trading specialist. She has three years experience doing portfolio management and helping clients with investment strategy at Forex.com (Online Foreign Exchange trading company) on Wall Street.
Narjis earned a degree in Business Administration from l'Ecole Superieure de Commerce International ESCI in Fontainebleau, France after getting her degree from L'Ecole Française des Affaires in Casablanca, Morocco. She holds an MBA in International Business from Buffalo, NY and is currently pursuing a Master in Finance in Golden Gate University. She is a Series 3 Registered with the NFA (National Futures Association) and CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission).

Yassine El Halaissi, Vice President

After graduating from High School in Casablanca in 2005, Yassine started his college education in Paris, France where he earned his bachelor's degree in corporate Finance at the MBA Institute of Paris in 2008. He had the chance to participate in an exchange program in his 3rd year and flew to San Francisco where he studied and worked afterwards in a investment boutique. When he came back from this amazing experience abroad, he was decided on completing a graduate program in California. It's now his second semester at GGU and is learning more everyday.
