My name is Barkwende Frank Sawadogo and I'm from Burkina Faso, a sub-Saharan West African country. I am a full-time student in the MBA (Finance) program at Golden Gate University.Having been enrolled at Golden Gate University since fall 2002, I had a chance to get to know other SGA teams and work with them, especially while I held the position of Vice President of Public Relations of the University's Toastmasters club last fall. I was able to leave important footprints as intensively promoting, considerably growing the club and extensively reaching out to students across the university. I am interested in the position of President of the Golden Gate University SGA. I have a proven track record in leadership and the ability in "Getting Things Done". With my team "ONE", the ultimate objective is restoring unity among the student community. My team and I will dedicate time and experience to seeking students' best interest on campus. As a student, I fully understand the issues facing GGU's students and as the president, I devote myself and will work diligently with students and administration in addressing them and significantly make an impact on improving the student life on campus.Best,Frank Barkwende

My name is Mukesh C. Punjabi and I come from India. I have been enrolled at Golden Gate University as a full time student for the MBA in Finance program.Throughout my education, I have always been an active member for student body associations. I was an active member of the Gymkhana Committee (India) and acted as its secretary for a year. I helped organize various activities as well as intra-college tournaments.Upon my arrival at GGU, I found out that there wasn't an Indian Association on campus. I actively contributed at the creation of the present club and I am currently acting as the VP of Administration in that association. As VP of Administration for the Indian Association, I have been updating the database of all the club members; maintain good relations with them. So far I have been associated in successfully organizing couple of events - Cultural event in Nov, 05 (an event which turned to be a grand opening event for the club) and the Republic Day event in Jan, 06Furthermore, as a good team player, my goal would be to help SGA with its Administration to the fullness of my abilities.Best regards,Mukesh

GGU attracts lots of professionals and students who want to facilitate and improve their career through its diversity and support for life-long learning environment. And I believe that this is the most important asset for students at GGU.As a VP of Public Relation, I will be committed to build strong ties with all of our diverse students and alumni as "One". In addition, I would seek to promote our students GGU through active network with the school and industries. I am able to improve on matters of student activities and involvement which can leverage our school life.Fast changes and developments in every aspect of our life are upon us. Returning to the school as a student after 8 consecutive years since I finished my BA in Korea changed my life and me in many ways. As a MBA student majoring in marketing, I have been learning to join in the real world and seeking to bring the vision to my life. I hope that my passion and previous experiences as a marketing manager for international brands is very valuable to build a strong bond between GGU between students, school and alumni. Please vote for "One" or for me as the future VP of Public Relations.Regards,Jinah

"GGU's campus spirit" is what I would like to see improving the most. In my opinion GGU should not only be a place for our academic endeavors, GGU should also be a place for more extracurricular activities and more cultural exchange. As a Finance student from Germany I especially enjoy the GGU's internationality among its students, faculty and administration. I think the GGU's diversity is a very valuable asset that could be leveraged more, especially outside the classroom. Personally, I miss GGU's sports clubs? Ski trips to Tahoe? Field trips? Get together with alumnis? Parties? Etc.As the president of the GGU Toastmasters, I already experienced how much fun it can be to have spontaneous trips to local events. I am confident that the VP of Finance role will give me the power to provide funding for activities and things students want. I am well aware of the importance that taking on this responsibility will imply and will devote myself to the well being of the Student Government Association. I am looking forward to making GGU a better place to excel in and outside the classroom.Cheers,Nic
