2009 International Education Week

Hosted by the International Admissions and Advising, University Library, Student Government (SGA) and Student Clubs, Office of Student Affairs, and Preparation in Language and University Studies (PLUS)

International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide.

Golden Gate University joins in the "joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States." (IEW website)

Please join us as we celebrate International Education Week (IEW). Throughout the week we are hosting a variety of events. A few highlights to check out:
    • See the performance of Abada Capoeira, a Brazilian martial art group.
    • Stop by during a class break to view one of the many movies being hosted by SGA.
    • Enter the IEW raffle for a chance to win free prizes.
    • Last but not least, the highlight of the week, the Cultural & Club Fair hosted by the SGA and Student Clubs. Come and taste foods from around the world and listen to live music.
