Our mission at Wellness Resources is to assist you in using effective tools to:
- enhance your academic success, and
- balance educational demands with other important areas of your life.
At Wellness Resources, you can receive these services:
- Work/Life Balance materials on dealing with stress, effectively managing your time and energy, handling test/presentation anxiety, developing your vision for your life and setting goals to meet that vision.
- Activities to support you in increasing your health awareness and achieving your wellness lifestyle goals. For example:
- We sponsor Wellness Wednesday one Wednesday a month to introduce you to local health-oriented services.
- Our popular Lunchtime Stress Break was named "Best Nooner" in downtown San Francisco (Students, faculty, staff and alumni are invited. Please include your friends because in supporting themselves, they support you: Wednesdays from 12-1 pm in Room 2310 -- August through June.)
- Confidential assessment and consultation, either Face2Face or Phone2Phone, regardless of your geographic location.
- Face2Face counseling and health education on our San Francisco campus.
We also assist you with:
- Referrals to appropriate off-campus health and psychological resources close to school, home or work. This includes confidential referrals to conventional, holistic and complementary practitioners and services.
Privacy is always respected and all our records are maintained offline and separately from academic records. We have been offering private, personal counseling services since 1996 and health education services since 2003 and we want you to
