Our Services

Wellness and Counseling Assessment and Referral

Regardless of where you attend classes or where you live and work, we will help you evaluate your personal or health situation and help you connect with the best resources to serve you, whether you're looking for a yoga class, massage practitioner, psychotherapist, acupuncturist or medical doctor.

In-Person Consulting and Counseling

Students attending classes on the San Francisco campus can attend brief, in-person, appointments with a Wellness Resources counselor.

Remote Services

Want to have face-to-face personal services, but live in Ohio or Taiwan? Don't let that stop you from calling for support. We know that Cyber- and regional- students will particularly benefit from receiving in-person counseling closer to work and home. Our staff is highly skilled in finding local resources to help you wherever you are.

Work/Life Integration Programs

You can get support around stress that happens from time to time as you manage multiple obligations to school, work and family:

Face-to-Face Workshops:
Our workshops can help you handle issues from life in general, and also the stresses that come with studying and preparing for exams. We'll assist you in learning new ways to manage your time and energy, as well as developing your vision for your future and setting goals to meet that vision. We hold workshops during Work/Life Integration Month in October and throughout the year on request at the San Francisco campus. If you cannot attend a workshop in person, we'll send you our materials and arrange for a telephone consultation to review the highlights and any questions you may have.

Wellness Wednesday:
Wellness Wednesday occurs once a month on a different lobby on the San Francisco campus between August and June each year. Drop by for information about ways you can help yourself stay balanced and engaged while you're working toward your degree. You'll be supported by our Wellness Resources staff as well as practitioners and other resources from the community.

Work/Life Integration Month:
Once a year, in October, you'll find a number of different activities and resources around campus and through email about work/life integration. Flyers around campus, email messages, workshops and activities in the lobbies help to remind you of what you already know about maintaining your health, or guide you about what you want to do to build a healthy lifestyle and attitude to succeed in school.
