As Adjunct Professor in Golden Gate University's Operations and Information Technology department, Howard teaches courses covering the development, implementation and use of current and evolving business-side applications. The curriculum includes technically-oriented knowledge of IT operations, enterprise-level architecture, infrastructure, networks and telecommunications. He has extensive professional experience in high-technology education and training, including curriculum development and certification assessment, distance learning, and hands-on computer laboratory instructional design and delivery.
Howards experience includes Program Manager in the Worldwide Sales Force Development organization at Cisco Systems, Inc. He was Regional Technology Coordinator at Golden Gate University and Director of Information Systems at Channelwave Software, Inc. Howard has held technical and management positions at Tandem Computers, Inc., 3Com Corporation, Network General Corporation, Four Phase Systems, Inc., and Memorex Corporation. He was Assistant Manager, Data Center Operations at General Finance Corporation and Manager of Customer Support at Pansophic Systems, Inc. in Illinois.

Project manager, instructional designer and lecturer for Tandem Computers NonStop IBM-compatible Systems.
Program manager and Certified Instructor for 3Com's 3Wizard Customer Certification Training program. Developed curriculum paths and certification requirements for 3Com's network operating systems, multi-protocol network routers, and internetworking switch products. Trained employees, resellers and customers on advanced networking concepts and related 3Com products.
