Mathematics and Science
Mission Statement
The Math Department prepares Golden Gate University students, both undergraduate and graduate, in the quantitative areas for successful progress towards their degree programs and the mathematical proficiency necessary for successful professional careers. The Math Department also delivers the science courses which are required in the Liberal Studies Core of each undergraduate degree. The curriculum integrates theory with practical applications and technology.
Math Testing
Undergraduate or graduate students who need to take either the math placement exam or a math proficiency exam can get more information, schedule and take the test with Undergraduate Programs. Please see the links below or to the right for more information.
