Find: E-Books

What is an E-Book?

An e-book is an electronic version of a book. It is the complete and full book, many times with the exact arrangement, photos, graphics, and text of the paper version. You can search for any word or phrase in e-books and read them online on both PCs and Macs. Our e-book selection was purchased to meet the needs of courses and programs. You can access the e-books from the online catalog or from one of the e-book databases below.

Accessing E-Books

E-books are easy to use and can be accessed from any GGU campus. To gain access remotely, you need to log in with your last name and student ID number or CyberCampus Username. If you have any access issues, please us at askalibrarian@ggu.edu.

Copyright Concerns

There are a number of websites offering access to free e-books. These e-books are either in the public domain because their copyright has expired in the United States or copyrighted books whose author gave the website permission to distribute them.

Searching for E-Books

Many e-books in our collection are cataloged right along with their paper versions. Each of our over 3500 NetLibrary e-books is listed in the catalog and is searchable by title, author and subject, and keyword.
