Getting a Library Card / Accessing the library
Alumni are granted lifetime access to the library building. Check out privileges of all materials is available free for the first two years after graduation. After two years has expired, the library charges $25.00 per year for check out privileges. In order to access the library and check out materials, alumni must have a library card. The card is free and the application form is available online.
Accessing the Commercial Databases
While in the library building, alumni have complete access to the library's paid databases. Unfortunately, vendor contracts prohibit the library from allowing alumni remote access to the databases. Government and free databases listed on the University Library Databases page are available to alumni. These databases state no login required in the description section.
Librarian Expertise
Alumni are free to use the expertise and extensive knowledge of the university librarians. In other words, we encourage you to ask us questions via e-mail to askalibrarian@ggu.edu, calling the Reference Desk at 415-442-7246 or stopping into the library.
